This maintenance time usually lasts for around three hours and right after that, you are able to try out all of the new things that have been added to the game. In case the maintenance time gets announced, this article will be updated with the information about it.

Short Overview Of 10.13 Patch

If you are one of the people who have been waiting for a new Heimerdinger skin for a long time, this patch might be what you have been waiting for! Heimerdinger, Taliyah, Orianna, Syndra, and Jarvan IV are the champions joining the Pool Party squad this year and seriously, they look awesome! If you already have Pool Party Fiora and Pool Party Caitlyn, getting some of this year’s skins will certainly make your Pool Party collection even cooler!

Of course, this patch is not all about fancy skins though. In addition, Mafia and Gangster skin collections are getting renamed to Crime City.

According to Riot Games, they had to rename them due to cultural sensitivity issues. While many players do not seem very happy with the change, it is understandable why Riot has decided to do it.

Some of the champions are preparing for a pool party but certain ones are getting VFX changes. Nurse Akali, Surgeon Shen, and Kennen M.D. are all going to show off their new shiny looking spells!

When it comes to champion balance changes, many of them have been added to PBE servers. For example, Kalista and Aphelios are getting a nerf while Lucian, Kog’Maw, Nocturne, Nunu & Willump, and Vi are getting the necessary buffs. Yuumi and Gnar are also one of the champions that will be facing certain changes and if you are curious to know which, make sure to check all of the details below.

Champion Balance Changes For 10.13 Patch

One of the lead gameplay designers, Mark Yetter has openly spoken about mid-lane changes for the patch 10.13, however, the plan has changed and the testing will not be done before League of Legends Worlds Championship this year. Item And Rune Balance Changes For 10.13 Patch

This time, not many changes will happen to our beloved items and runes, however, some of the changes will certainly impact our gameplay experience.

Rune Balance Changes

If you have been checking Mark Yetter’s tweets, you probably noticed he has been talking about rune changes as well. In one of his tweets Mark went over Conqueror nerfs for 10.13 patch and revealed the following changes:

Conquerer (Precision Keystone) is getting a quite simple nerf that will not impact all of the champions but only certain ones that take advantage of it early into the game. Conquerer has been changed and now it is going to be giving a maximum of 12 stacks instead of only 10. Sadly, another change that has been mentioned is the adaptive force gained per stack, this is getting decreased from 2-5 to 1.7-4.2

Guardian (Resolve Keystone) is also getting a quite simple change, however, many players have pointed out it was not necessary at all. Guardian has been changed in patch 10.12 and it was buffed, sadly, patch 10.13 is going to have it nerfed now again. The base value of rune’s shield is now going to be decreased from 80-200 to 70-150.

Item Changes

Death’s Dance is getting a second unique passive change. In patch 10.13 damage taken dealt as a Bleed effect over 3 seconds for ranged champions has been decreased from 20% to 10%. While this change does not seem like a significant change, we must take into consideration that melee champions get to store 30% of the damage while ranged champions were able to store only 20%, currently, down to 10%. This means ranged champions will now be even less tankier than before.

Death’s Dance has always worked well with certain champions such as Ezreal, Kalista, or Aphelios, however, many players are worried about how will Urgot be affected by this change. Knowing Urgot is not a traditional AD carry such as Miss Fortune, for example, as a top lane, Urgot will be losing 10% store damage which could put him back and make him less viable after the patch.

New League Of Legends Skins For 10.13 Patch

As already mentioned at the start, 10.13 update is bringing us five new, outstanding Pool Party skins and we cannot wait to try them out! While skins might not be the most important aspect of the game, skins can certainly make the game much more fun.

Pool Party skins have been a thing for a long time and each year we get a new set of champions getting their Pool Party skins. This year it is going to be Orianna, Heimerdinger, Taliyah, Jarvan IV, and Syndra.

Conclusion

From all we know, patch 10.13 seems to be an amazing patch and many players are impatiently waiting for it to go live. While some of the changes might not suit certain players, we must take into consideration that it is hard and pretty much impossible to please every single League of Legends player. Maybe one of your main champions has gotten a nerf this time, but next time it gets a huge buff? We simply never know what secrets Riot Games has hidden in their pockets. 10.13 Patch overall seems to be very straight forward and it is great to see new Pool Party skins as well! For all of you impatient ones who find it hard to wait till 24th June, check out the PBE servers and test all of the things you are curious about.
